The Top Spot for Caravan Enthusiasts in the Heart of Seven Fells

Ylläs Ykkös Caravan is located in the village of Äkäslompolo, in a beautiful natural setting between Äkäslompolo Lake and the Äkäsjoki River. Our area is in the center of the village — the nearest grocery store is 500 meters away, and all local restaurants are within a kilometer. In winter, you can access the ski tracks directly from our yard, and in summer, enjoy our cozy private beach. The Lantern Café is open daily during the autumn and spring seasons.

Caravan Area

You can easily stay on our caravan area with your caravan or motorhome. The caravan area is open from Midsummer to May Day. Comprehensive service facilities are available for all of our caravan guests.

Accommodation

We offer high-quality accommodation in the heart of Äkäslompolo. Stay in the modern apartments of Riihen Talo or in the cozy Lumilyhty cottages. All our accommodations include a final cleaning.

Lantern Café

The charming Lantern Café serves delicious snacks and refreshing drinks for both sweet and savory cravings. During the high season, autumn and spring, we also serve a tasty lunch on weekdays.

Caravan Area

The area has 96 electric-equipped caravan pitches. In the main building’s lower floor, you’ll find extensive service facilities, including separate shower and sauna areas for men and women, toilets, a kitchen, and laundry and drying facilities. During winter, the service area also has a ski waxing room. Next to the main building, you’ll find a chemical toilet emptying station and a fresh water refill point.
